Separate terms for sessions, online courses, and practitioner training — because the cost of a late change differs for each.

Different services carry different terms, because the cost of a late change differs. A missed hour is not a missed week, and a downloaded course cannot be returned. Each is set out below.
A non-refundable deposit of $200 is taken at booking and applied to the session fee. The remaining balance is charged automatically to the same card three days before your session, and the exact date is shown when you book. A session booked less than three days ahead is paid in full at booking. These terms apply equally to online and in-person sessions.
Serious illness or emergency is handled case by case at Dr. Richards's discretion.
If Dr. Richards cancels or reschedules, you may take the next available time at no additional cost or receive a full refund, including the deposit.
Packages are paid in full at purchase. The reduced per-session rate reflects that commitment.
Sessions already taken are charged at the individual rate in force when you bought the package, and the balance of what you paid is refunded.
For example: on a ten-session package at $5,500 bought while the individual rate is $600, having taken three sessions, those three are charged at $1,800 and $3,700 is refunded. The package rate is a discount for committing to the whole course of work, so it applies to the sessions you complete rather than to those you do not.
An intensive reserves consecutive days of Dr. Richards's calendar, two sessions per day. That time cannot be filled at short notice, so the terms are firmer than for a single session.
Intensives are arranged in conversation rather than bought from a page. Once the dates and scope are agreed, a 50% deposit confirms them, with the balance due thirty days before the intensive begins.
Where Dr. Richards travels to you, travel and accommodation are quoted separately, paid in advance, and are not refundable once booked, whenever a cancellation occurs. These costs are committed on your behalf before the cancellation windows above take effect, and the refund tiers apply only to the intensive fee itself.
Courses are sold as lifetime access to the material as it exists at purchase. We may add to or revise a course; we do not guarantee that specific content will remain unchanged.
Where a course includes a session or a session credit, refunding the course cancels any unused credit. A credit already redeemed is not refundable and the session terms above apply to it.
The first payment secures your place in a cohort limited to ten and is not refundable at any stage.
In cases of serious illness or emergency, Dr. Richards may at his discretion offer a deferral to a later cohort or a partial credit. This is a discretionary courtesy, not an entitlement.
Personal sessions required by the training are booked and paid separately with the practitioner delivering them, and are not covered by tuition or by this policy. Sessions already delivered are not refundable.
We may remove a trainee for breach of the confidentiality agreement or conduct that endangers a client or another trainee. In that case tuition is not refunded.
